You can choose any of these 3 options to launch Mozilla Firefox in safe mode:

  1. From the browser’s main menu Click the main menu icon, situated in the upper right of your window. To launch your browser in safe mode on your Linux, just open your terminal and type: firefox -safe-mode

For Mac OS computers you will also need to use terminal and type: /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -safe-mode
